Mary Voiss – Legal Assistant
Excellent Customer Service. Attention to Detail.
As the legal assistant at Skinner Law, Mary Voiss communicates with clients, courts, personal representatives and trustees regularly. She prepares the necessary materials ahead of client meetings, and she maintains a calendar for meetings and deadlines to ensure that nothing falls through the cracks. She also assists in drafting documents. Whenever needed, she provides support for special projects, including marketing and social media.
“If I can anticipate what someone will need in advance, I like to get those things taken care of without someone asking,” Mary says. Every day, she strives to provide excellent customer service.
Mary graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in interior design. She also has an associate degree from Chemeketa Community College. Between 2013 and 2017, Mary volunteered with the Alzheimer’s Association, and she served as the Chair of the Mission Committee for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s event.
Mary became a legal assistant because she wanted a stable position that would let her provide for her child. She understands the importance of planning ahead and taking care of one’s family, and she wants to ease the estate planning process for everyone by providing support to Ginger and her clients.
Known for her exemplary organizational skills and time management, Mary excels at problem solving. She has a strong attention to detail and can accomplish tasks in an accurate and timely manner. At the same time, she has an easy-going nature.
When Mary is not working, she likes to go camping, hiking and paddle boarding. She enjoys reading and is a fan of both comedy and real crime. Above all, she loves spending time with her son.
